Search for #LipArt on Instagram, and you’ll be blown away by the hundreds and hundreds of wildly imaginative and beautiful designs you’ll find. Glittery designs, ombre, lifelike drawings of people and landscapes, Swarovski crystals…the limit truly does not exist. Keep reading for twenty of our favorite creative lip art designs.

Vlada Haggerty used the Pat McGrath Fuchsia002 pigment, mixed with clear gloss, for this look. The standout part of the look, obviously, are the Swarovski crystals (!!!) adorning her top lip.

The story behind these lip art looks is so beautiful. @sara_mua_ was inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsukuroi, which translates to ‘repair with gold’. It’s the act of repairing pottery with gold or silver lacquer, and appreciating that a piece even more beautiful after being broken. Love.

Lip art can be attainable! Molly Bee diffused her orange Kat Von D’s A-Go-Go lipstick with Lime Crime’s Cosmpop and MAC’s Fleshpot. She topped the entire lip with NYX’s Clear Mega Shine Lip Gloss.

This ‘foiled’ lip art is absolutely stunning. @theminaficent used NYX’s Blackberry Lip Liner, LA Splash liquid lippies in Sangre Azul and Guadalupe, plus My Beauty Addiction’s Eclipse Highlighter in Sphinx.

This look by @neztheartist is pretty simple to recreate: just grab your favorite liquid lipstick and loose glitter and you’re set! She mixed Gerard’s Immortal with Anastasia’s Midnight, then patted Violet Voss glitter on top.

Vespa Obradovic shows what an unusual and stunning combo dark green and turquoise are. Why don’t these two colors get paired together more often?! For this lip art, she used ABH’s Midnight, Kat Von D’s Birdcage and Gunner shadows from the Spellbinding Eyeshadow Book, plus Graftobian Metal Mania in Silver with blue body paint mixed in.

This look just screams summer. @andeedoll painted ABH’s Retro Coral on her lips, then went over it with the ABH Waterproof Creme Color in Yellow. It’s so sunny and cheerful – love it.

Each and every look by Vlada Haggerty is breathtaking. For this romantic lip art, she used the new Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in Bae, Tarte Lip Crayon in Thirsty and some floral nail decals.

Leave it Samantha Ravndahl to always blow us away with her creative and gorgeous looks. For her blue and gold look, she used Melt’s Blitzed as a base, stamped Sugarpill’s Goldilux on top using plastic wrap and outlined it with NYX’s Matte Liquid Liner.

Going for gold: @missjazminad piled on all the gold she could find for her dramatic New Year’s look. Obsessed with this, but she definitely has to make sure not to rub her lips together! 😉
